Feeding Your Dog a Raw Food Diet

Raw Dog Food For Beginners

There are several methods of raw feeding with the most common being:

Whole Prey: Whole prey is a whole, intact, prey animal and includes all internal organs, bones, blood, and glands.

BARF Diet: The BARF diet guidelines generally includes 70% muscle meat, 10% raw edible bone, 5% liver, 5% other secreting organ, and 10% plant ingredients.

Both of these diets are considered evolutionary to the domestic dog, and many dedicated owners are committed to the time it takes in procuring, planning and preparing these diets. Other caring owners simply feed a high-quality, pre-prepared and well-balance alternative.
